ABOUT US
We are a community of basketball enthusiasts who have played, coached, mentored and officiated the game. We love the game and want to provide an opportunity for young people to play the game under conditions that provide a safe, fair and enjoyable environment. Without good officials on the court, that’s not going to happen.
We aren’t trying to rock the boat, or re-invent the wheel. What we are doing is trying to improve how our system works by providing the teams, the schools, clubs, associations and referees a means to communicate with each other. Nobody has a crystal ball, so the next best thing is to keep everybody informed. We think that our website is a very good place to start.
Without up to date information from the schools, teams, clubs, and associations we can’t keep everybody up to speed. Please inform us of changes ASAP, we might be good at what we do, but we are not magicians, we need lead time to post information to the site.

In case you haven’t noticed, the interest in playing basketball is growing exponentially in the greater Calgary area. For that matter, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon with young people across the globe discovering the game.
We are very happy to support basketball by ensuring that the game is played safely, fairly and by the book. Most of our officials come from a background of playing, coaching and now refereeing the game. They love the game and want to do their part to ensure it’s played by the rules.
