REFEREES
As a member of our group, your name and contact information will only be shared amongst our group on the Referee Contact page. This is used in case any of you need to find a replacement officiial for games you can’t cover.
When we can, we let our customers know who is officiating at their games. Over time our customers have often become friends with many of our referees, and that’s the sort of relationship we try to cultivate within our group, and with our customers.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership with our referee community has a small yearly fee of $70.00 CAN which goes towards administration costs, website maintenance/ hosting, clinics and development. When you first join, the initial fee will also include a signature jersey that is custom designed for our group. Details concerning sizing and delivery will also be provided.
The fee is payable by E-transfer to – [email protected]. Once received, a receipt, membership number and password will be emailed to you, along with a big ‘welcome’ from all of us!.

In case you haven’t noticed, the interest in playing basketball is growing exponentially in the greater Calgary area. For that matter, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon with young people across the globe discovering the game.
We are very happy to support basketball by ensuring that the game is played safely, fairly and by the book. Most of our officials come from a background of playing, coaching and now refereeing the game. They love the game and want to do their part to ensure it’s played by the rules.
