Our goal is to ensure a safe, fair and enjoyable experience for everybody on the basketball court. Having good officials on the court is a great start to this. We would like to help you make this happen.

Whether you need 2 referees on the court, or 3 for those challenging games, we have you covered!

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS & LEAGUE GAMES

We have a number of Primetime Sports tournaments upcoming through spring and summer. We will post information about schedules once we receive them.

Brodie League summer season will start on June 8th, and will be 3 nights each week, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, split between the two Prolific Sport House locations.

We do also anticipate requests for other exhibition and tournament games through the summer months.

FIBA 2024 RULE CHANGES

We strongly recommend that referees watch this video, in addition to reading the FIBA rule changes for 2024. The interpretation of the rules can be difficult trying to just read them. The video brings clarity.

As a referee you make a difference – every game you referee helps 25 to 30 people have a safe, enjoyable, and fair game.
Did you know as a minor sport referee in Canada your income is an ‘honorarium’, The CRA suggests you include it as income, but the choice is yours.
The sport is growing and the demand for referees is growing as well. That makes it a great side gig.
