As with most organizations with more than one person involved, or affected by decisions being made, we need to have a system in place to support and inform everybody. Questions relating to protocols and procedures in place on how to deal with issues that require some concrete directives that people can turn to for solutions.

In case you haven’t noticed, the interest in playing basketball is growing exponentially in the greater Calgary area. For that matter, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon with young people across the globe discovering the game.

We are very happy to support basketball by ensuring that the game is played safely, fairly and by the book. Most of our officials come from a background of playing, coaching and now refereeing the game. They love the game and want to do their part to ensure it’s played by the rules.
