WHY WOULD I JOIN THIS GROUP, AND WHAT BENEFITS DOES IT HAVE FOR ME?

We offer referee training & development for members.
We have a customer base of 7 different leagues in the greater Calgary area, and thousands of games over the course of a year.
We pay our referees as quickly as possible, generally on a monthly basis.
Game rates for each referee range from 30.00 to 78.00 depending on age group and number of consecutive games.
Basketball is growing in popularity and involvement, and we are too.
It’s a great part-time job, pick your games and location, get paid well and keep active.

For anybody with some basketball experience as a player and/or a coach, who would like to learn how to become a referee, please contact us by filling in this form.

We have a training and development program that will introduce you to the basic rules of the game from an officials perspective.

Additionally, we will also cover rules that will be critical for junior high level of basketball, and older. Through a combination of classroom, on court and in game mentoring, participants will gain the skills necessary for junior high basketball refereeing.

This program is open to members of our group, and will require participants to join our group. We have a yearly membership fee, and a small additional fee for the training program.
